The fee structure detailed below is intended to give a general idea of what we charge. Our fees are as varied and flexible as the conditions we encounter, so our fee structure is not set in stone. Simple Mold Inspection -
Experiencing illness or moldy odors that make you feel that you have an isolated mold problem? A basic Florida mold inspection of a residential property costs $200 for the inspection and $100.00 for each sample taken. Total fees are typically $500.00 to $800.00 depending on the number of samples taken. This option is best for an inspection of just one or two rooms that are suspected of having a mold problem. The mold inspection consists of a complete in-depth visual inspection of accessible areas by an experienced Florida mold inspector. Several samples are taken, including one outdoor air sample. South Florida mold inspectors use outdoor samples to determine if indoor spore levels are typical for the area or if they are concentrated and unusually high in your home. Our fee includes spore analysis, the mold inspection report and remediation recommendations. If deemed advisable (and with your permission), additional mold and spore samples may be taken for analysis at an additional cost of $100.00 each.
Standard Mold Inspection -
If you know that there are several areas of visible mold growth or water intrusion in your home and/or you or a family member is experiencing illness, you can have standard Florida mold testing conducted on the accessible areas of your residence. The fee is $200 for the inspection and $100.00 for each sample taken (six to ten samples will typically be obtained for testing). The total fee is around $1,000.00, which includes spore analysis, the lab report, mold inspection report and remediation recommendations.
Extensive Mold Inspection - Includes 11 to 20 Samples and up.
Additional samples are needed for buildings that have a more severe mold problem. These include commercial or multi-unit properties up to 10,000 square feet, residences where the occupants are experiencing illness from hidden molds, or situations with legal issues requiring documentation. Typically 11 to 20 samples are taken at a fee of $100 per sample. This fee covers all analysis, the mold inspection report and remediation recommendations.

Allergen Testing
1.) Allergen analysis of dust samples by ELISA (Enzyme Linked Immuno Sorbet Assay) for dog, cat, roach and dust mite allergens. $125.00 per sample. Just let us know ahead of time.
Speciation
2.) We also offer speciation to determine the exact genus (and sometimes species) of molds and bacteria found at your property. This is done using viable fungal culture or even speciation by PCR genetic analysis. Speciation is recommended in legal cases and in cases of doctor-diagnosed fungal or bacterial infections. $150.00 per sample.
Indoor Air Quality Testing
3.) A Accredited is a South Florida mold inspector with the testing equipment and experience to investigate a wide range of potential sources of indoor air quality problems. Are you suffering from sore throat, coughing, sneezing, headache, nausea or tiredness when in your home or work place? Do the symptoms subside when you’re away? Are you being bothered by unusual odors that do not appear to be from mold? If so, general indoor air quality problems may be the cause. $200.00 per hour, plus sample fees ($100.00 and up depending on the type of samples needed).
