• STATE LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION
  When all inspectors are licensed you can look at the voluntary certifications to tell one consultant from the other. All mold inspection licenses are alike but all certifications are not alike.We hold the highly respected CIE or Certified Indoor Environmentalist certification. The CIE certification requires 2 years of experience and a college background in the sciences. We obtained this certification in Ft Lauderdale / Broward County in 2006, the week long course was very intensive taught by a Harvard graduate with a master degree in public health. Most mold certifications require no pre-requisites, and only a 2 day course in a hotel conference room.

  We inspect only and do not remove mold so we have no conflict of interest.
  Our only interest is providing you with non-bias facts and advice so you can breath easy once again. Florida State law does not allow one firm to provide mold inspections, testing, and remediation, on the same property in the same year. Many a Broward County mold inspector ignore this rule and provide toxic black mold testing and removal together.
